Master Yourself

In today's world, we are standing at the best form of technologies someone have ever imagined. Now its been very easy to connect with anyone. We are at just one click away to connect the person sitting miles away from us, amazing isn't it? While being connected so much to social media and get influenced by certain brands & people and electronic gadgets, somewhere, we have forgotten ourselves. Here, meaning of 'ourselves' is the human mind and soul. Just like to keep our body fit it is necessary to exercise regularly, in the same manner we have to keep our mind fit. There is a saying that "Fit body has a Fit Mind", however, it is not true in all cases. Most of the time we have seen people with best physique and physical strength, it doesn't mean that they also have a fit mind. Mind is totally a different game.
What is the meaning of fit mind? Fit mind means mentally strong. Now, what is this mentally strong? Mentally strong means to have control over your emotions, the ability to differentiate between right & wrong at anypoint of time. It is the human mind only, which has the power to create anything and also it has power to destroy anything. As we can see that human has explored different types of compact size explosives which can destroy the entire state and at the same time human has exceled into the medical field where they can save lives and make positive changes to several lives.
So, at this point of time it is necessary to 'Master Self'. Mastering self means that your body and mind should be aligned with one another. This can be achieved through self conciousness and emotional intelligence. The word 'emotional intelligence' has a very deep meaning, so to cut it short, in simple terms, it means that you should act to respond to the actions and not to react. Reaction to any action is done unconciously and instantly, however, responding to any situation means by analysing all the aspects of situation handling the situation analytically keeping your ego aside.

Anulom Vilom Pranayama: Yogic Science Explained Through Gheranda Samhita and Upanishads In Indian yogic and philosophical traditions, Prāṇa is not merely breath—it is the subtle life force sustaining body, mind, and consciousness. The Upanishads describe prāṇa as the manifest expression of Brahman within the human system. Anulom Vilom Pranayama , also known as Nāḍī Śodhana , is a classical yogic practice aimed at purifying and balancing this vital force. Far beyond a breathing exercise, it is a scientific spiritual discipline rooted in Hatha Yoga and Vedantic wisdom. Scriptural Origin of Anulom Vilom The Gheranda Samhita is one of the principal texts of Hatha Yoga and presents yoga as a sevenfold path. Within its section on Pranayama, Nāḍī Śodhana is described as essential for mastery over prāṇa. यावद् नाडीशुद्धिर्भवेत् तावत् प्राणो न संयम्यते। Meaning: Until the nāḍīs (energy cha...

Power of Thoughts

Our thoughts are like a computer program. The system performs the same type of instructions as we put in the program. In the same way, the type of thought we possess we bring the same kind of behaviour into our lives. Every second there comes hundreds of thoughts in our mind, most of which we neither know nor remember. Out of those we are able to hold only those thoughts which have any importance in our life. Now it is to be seen what kind of thoughts we give importance to. A friend of mine asked me that when we all have different minds and mental strength is also different, then how can the same idea affect everyone. He had asked a very technical and difficult question, it took some time to think but I got the answer to this question. To understand this, we must first understand how the mind works. When anything is experienced by our senses, then that experience is converted into electrochemical waves and signals are sent to the mind. When this information is processed to some extent,...
